This is a mixture of Big and Little Bluestem, Side oats, Wild rye and Annual Lespedeza. It provides ideal nesting, brood rearing and escape cover for quail, but also is ideal for the deer to hang out in as well. This stuff was thigh high in most areas and thick!

The hedgerows on three sides are plenty dense as well. The waterway in the middle is hayed every year. The owner says he has seen nice bucks on the property in past years, but he doesn't hunt.
