This hunting lease is leased and not available. This particular property is located in Clay County, Kentucky right on the Knox County Line. The property borders Daniel Boone National Forest on two sides. It is heavily wooded with second growth forests and thickets. There is some good mature timber still standing and a few fields/openings in the "bottoms". I would consider this tract to be a "mountain" property. The terrain consists of steep slopes and hollows to flat ridge tops and creek bottoms. There is a good road/trail system that runs throughout the property, existing from previous logging operations. I saw some very heavy deer trails, lots of tracks, as well as several old rubs. This is a very secluded parcel with only a few houses around for several miles. There is a property manager that goes around and checks all of the owner's properties on a bi-weekly basis, he is a good guy and is local, so he can help keep an eye on the place. The property also maps out to be much bigger than the deed indicates. Therefore you are getting quite a bit more land for your money. ATVs and Camping are OK.
