This hunting lease is leased and not available. This is a Clay County, Kentucky property located on the south fork of the Kentucky River, right on the Owsley County line. The property sits on both sides of a small gravel road. There were plenty of heavily used deer trails and I saw several large tracks on a few of the trails. This is basically a mountain property that runs down to the river. There are numerous ridges, benches and old logging roads that can be used for set ups. Portions of the property were pretty thick with new growth emerging, but some of the land remained fairly open and contained several sections of mature timber. The property is very secluded and a permanent residence is not in the vicinity. There is a "summer home/camp" that you will drive past going into the property, but according to the landowner the people are not there very often. This parcel is almost entirely wooded, however a few small openings do exist.
