This hunting lease is leased and not available.
Endless Hunt Club possibilities are my thoughts on this excellent Knox County, Kentucky Lease.
This is a 1208-ac mostly wooded property located in Knox County, Kentucky. This diverse hunting ground consists of low, open, grassy creek bottoms, steep hardwood ridges, densely covered reclaimed strip mine areas, logging roads and benches, hayfields, nice flat ridge tops, and multiple water sources in the form of creeks and ponds. Many cumbersome deer trails were scattered throughout this property, along with many scrapes in the "creek bottom" areas. I found two dead deer (cause unknown), one doe, and one spike. There were two horses in a tiny field lot and two horses in another; the remaining fields were in the hay, consisting of many good-looking clovers. The majority of the property has been selecting timbered to some extent, according to the property manager, within the last 20 years, so there were areas of very thick cover but still a lot of good mature timber and a lot of beautiful mature white oaks. There are quite a few hidden fields and "strips" that don't show up on the maps that were beautiful areas and had a lot of good deer signs. Access to each section of the property was good. Some of the regions will require 4WD to have reasonable access. The property manager lives locally and can help monitor the property and familiarize you with the boundaries. The blue outline on the large section of the property is a 1-acre area owned by a private party not involved in this lease. The blue box to the east side of the tract is a right of way that can be used to access that section of the farm if you so desire. The property is about 15 minutes from the town of Manchester.
