This looks to be a great all around property! Hunting, fishing, trapping, camping, relaxing….it's all included, and I wish I was there now.
Upon inspection, lots of rubs were found, and some of them were of good size. The game trails were worn heavy through the woods. There is no doubt in my mind that plenty of deer call this farm home. The watershed lake was built about 10 years ago, and is a great feature of this property. Some of the neighbors do waterfowl hunt and trap on it. The beavers are wreaking havoc on the trees, so trapping is encouraged.
Crops are planted in the north field. The remainder of the property is hay ground.
Located less than 10 miles from Lawrence, and only one mile off of Hwy 59, this property is conveniently located for anybody living in NE Kansas. Access will be from the Northside, with a driveway/ trail going down along the east fence line. And for all of you history buffs, the property is located along the original route of the historic Santa Fe Trail.
You are welcome to bring your camper out during hunting season as well.
