This hunting lease is leased and not available. Here's a nice little 40 acre farm being offered for lease in Sangamon County, Illinois. This farm is made up of timber and row crops, and was timbered about 9 years ago for walnut only. All the tops you see in the photos were left, which has improved the cover and the hunting. The day I walked the property, I could clearly see where the deer were moving through the farm to and from the ag field, and the row crops were completely littered with deer tracks. There are plenty of trees, where you can hang stands. There is a big block of timber to the east where it looks to be the deer are traveling to and from, as well. This farm would also make a great place for a parent and their child.
