Here's a farm being offered for lease in Hancock County. The tract is made up of timber, row crops, bedding, and water; everything you need to grow and hold big bucks. It also has some thick underbrush that will make for great cover for those deer cruising through or calling this farm home. During my inspection, I walked a 95% of this farm, because the more I waked, the more I wanted to see. The landscape goes from rolling hills, to deep hog back ravines, which Hancock County is known for.
It's very evident from the aerial photo, there are some very nice natural pinch points. Once on the farm, you'll see exactly what I'm talking about. The deer sign completely littered this farm, as the photos below will attest to. In reality, I could have added another 15 plus photos' of nothing but rubs and worn down deer trails. The farm had a very small timber harvest in early 2019. There were approximately 20 to 25 trees harvested. With the tops left laying this will do nothing but enhance this farm.
