This hunting lease is leased and not available. This could turn into a super urban Cincinnati hunting hot spot. Just off the 275 By-Pass this property is just 300 yards from the Cincinnati Nature Center, which is over 1,000 acres of no hunting!!! Green line on aerial maps is Nature Center property line. The front third is pasture and there are a few cows fenced off in the front half of the woods. The back half of the woods are fairly steep ravines that were fairly heavily select cut in 2014-15. However there are still plenty of good stand trees. This should grow into some very thick bedding in the next few years. Also, there is a nice cedar thicket that was left.

Deer sign was good with trails following the cattle fences. I see three great chances for killing a stud here during the season�.. During the rut when the bucks come chasing out of the Nature Center�. Gun season� and by late season feeding. Landowner lives on site to keep an eye on things and says the hunters he let on in the past did very well. You will see a few old stands but use at your own risk. This is one of those City hot spots I keep getting asked about, and this one should only get better as time goes on and the select cut grows in. Make sure you respect the gates. No camping but everything you need is minutes away.
