This hunting lease is leased and not available. This lease has two separate and different blocks of land. You could hunt two very different deer groups. The eastern block is just over 50 acres of woods and overgrown field. The field area is high and relatively flat. It has not been farmed in a long time and is getting overgrown around the edges that show signs of years worth of rubbing. It looks to have some really nice bedding cover. The woods has some undergrowth, but is mostly mature maples and cherry. It has some ridges and a steep hill leading down to the neighboring property.

The second spot is a 15 acre steep densely wooded hillside sandwiched between two roads. There is a creek and wet swampy area in one corner of the property. When I inspected it in March there was lots of deer droppings and evidence they were feeding heavily on the cedars. It looked like the deer tend to yard up in this area during bad weather.

The owner is a great guy and lives right there so he can keep an eye on things. He has a really nice rental house down the street which may be available if you check with him after you lease. Camping will be allowed but only in a spot designated by the owner. He asks that there is no ATV use or fires unless you get specific permission and direction from him.

The owner is a local farmer. He has some crop damage antlerless permits that you can use.
