This hunting lease is leased and not available. This Mecosta County property is just a few miles from Remus. It has 20 acres of crop and about 12 acres of wooded river bottom on the North Branch of the Chippewa River. The field is high and dry with a steep slope down to the river. This slope is filled with deer runways crisscrossing the edge and leading up to the field for feeding. During inspection, there were tons of geese circling overhead which made me think this could also be a great field to set up for goose hunt once the crops are off in the fall.

The Chippewa River is known to be one of the best small mouth fisheries in the State. This would make a great lease for a family or a group of hunters who are looking for a small affordable property that offers both fishing and hunting.
