Here's an awesome little farm being offered for lease in Fayette County, Illinois. This farm is very secluded and on a dead end road, with very little human presence. When I drove up to the farm and crested the hill, I was already seeing deer. I watched eight deer take off through the field and into the timber. While walking this farm, I was consistently seeing deer. With the timber getting greener every day, it was very difficult to see the number of deer that were out ahead of me, but nonetheless, I was constantly seeing white tails waiving at me!
There's some very nice funnels on this farm, where it would be very obvious to hang a stand. You could easily hang fifteen to twenty stands on this farm, if not more. Quite frankly, if I did not already have a lease, I would not hesitate for a second, to place a deposit on this farm. It's by far one of the better 70 acre farms I've inspected. It has some very nice valleys that roll down into a bottom, with water running through the valley, as you'll see in the pictures. I also come across quite a bit of turkey sign. If you're looking for a smaller farm that has had some very nice mature Illinois bucks harvested from it, here is your opportunity!
