This hunting lease is leased and not available.
Here's a nice little 53 acre farm being offered for lease in Calhoun County, Illinois. The farm is made up of row crops, timber and water. The timber is very thick, as you will see in the photos. What makes this farm so thick is, it's loaded with honeysuckle. It's hard to maneuver through, but the deer have no problems and absolutely love traveling in it, as it keeps them very well hidden. I have a lease that has honeysuckle and convinced the landowner to not take it all out.
This farm lies between the Illinois and Mississippi rivers, which is a great area of Calhoun County. As you will see in the photos, there were numerous trails leading from the timber to the row crops and to the pond that's on this farm. The cemetery and the church borders this farm, which provides you easy access to the timber. You will have no issues to quietly sneak in and out. Depending how you travel to this farm, you may need to take the ferry across the Illinois River. I used it on the way home and it took all of 10 minutes to load and get to the other side. The green lines you see in green, indicating an X, represents the timber that it shows is no longer there.

*No trucks are to be driven on the farm.
