This hunting lease is leased and not available. If seeing deer and filling tags are what you are looking for, this 40 acre property in Wood County is one you should strongly consider. Four plus inches of rain in 24 hours before my inspection prevented me from being able to cross the creek that day and get to the far reaching corners of this property but I liked everything I saw. Regardless of what you might think of the aerial, the entire 40 acres of this property is habitat and bedding for wildlife. What you see in the pictures is how this property truly looks. You will also see some agriculture on neighboring properties, but when it comes to bedding and security I have no doubt that this property is a deer or turkeys primary home.

Landowner told me that the creek is crossable with an ATV or truck 99% of the time and you can see the roads and shooting lanes on the aerial to validate that claim. There are two enclosed hunting stands on the property left over from the previous landowner. Current landowner allowed two people to hunt in these opening day of the gun season last year and by 7am they both had their tags filled.

All legal game is yours to hunt. Respectful use of ATV for hunting related activities is okay. Camping for hunting related activities is okay with permission from landowner. Food plots okay with permission from landowner.
