This hunting lease is leased and not available. What a great farm this turned out to be. It has two 6-7 acre alfalfa fields, a watering hole, apple trees scattered throughout and plenty of edges for hanging a stand or setting up that deer blind. There is a square 40 on one side of the road with 91 acres near the homestead on the other side. Mature pines thick underbrush and maples fill out the landscape and the old overgrown fields. Several fields had old dead Christmas trees and were recently cleared leaving some opened up fields.

Access to the whole property is easy with a gated entrance to the 40 acres and a second gated farm road that runs right up the middle of the 91 acres. There are plenty of clearings and trails to walk or haul out your deer. The owner will lock the main gate and work out a key for you once you lease it. If you want to set up a camp while scouting or hunting there are multiple places right inside the gates.

The surrounding properties are large. It is only about � hour from Traverse City if you want to go into town.

During inspection I found plenty of old buck rubs, lots of deer tracks and turkey feathers. We jumped a few deer and multiple turkeys. This is a great hunting area so it is worth checking out.
