This hunting lease is leased and not available. This property is located in Central Lawrence County, Kentucky. It consists of 200 acres of land typical to this part of the state. It's comprised of steep slopes, beautiful flat ridge tops, deep ravines, lots of creeks/streams, numerous other flats and benches. It is gated. This property also borders the Yatesville Lake WMA offering you a much bigger hunting area with some great hard to reach access to the WMA. The parcel has been selectively cut on one side (as you can see in my pictures), but it has not been logged at all on the other side. There are gas wells located on the property and a good road system exists throughout. I saw plenty of deer tracks and well used deer trails all across the premises, encountering plenty of turkey sign along the way. I observed two does and had a decent looking buck run across the road in front of my truck. The landowner said that the guy who used to take care of this property had killed several nice bucks and gobblers over the years. This tract is posted and the boundaries around the Army Corp of Engineers property (WMA) are pretty well marked, however the remaining perimeter is not marked very well. Responsible Camping and ATV use is permitted.
