This is the type of property everyone is looking for!!! When I inspected this property it reminded me of Iowa. Everywhere I looked I saw big buck sign. I saw over 80 rubs, just look at some of the pictures, with many being as big as your arm, along with big scrapes along the fields and in the woods. I personally would love to hunt this property myself.
This property has everything you could ask for….. Rolling ridges of hardwoods, fingers and points of cover, CRP, creeks, a stand-alone woodlot and bedding cover. The property has 60 acres of tillable crop land with 15 acres or so in CRP grass. The other 63 acres are just big buck heaven. You have access from three roads to play the wind. Many of the field edges are all hidden from the road. If you ever wanted to hunt for some of those Ohio big bucks you could not find a better farm.
Clinton County is a sleeper for big whitetails and this property is in one of the very best areas of the county. This property is close to Wilmington for food and lodging. Also, property is just north a little ways from Cincinnati just off of Interstate 71. Landowner has been removing dead Ash trees over time and property was select cut around 2006. They left plenty of big beech, oaks, maple and shagbark. ATV use for hunting purposes only.
