This hunting lease is leased and not available. Base Camp Leasing has a 168 acre hunting lease available for immediate lease in Genesee County, New York. This hunting lease is located 30 miles south-west of Rochester, New York. The property consists of approximately 34 acres of woods and 134 acres of working crop fields. This hunting lease should provide deer, turkey and goose hunting opportunities. Upon my inspection, I was driving on an established farm road following the south west border back to the ravine. About half-way to the ravine a nice buck jumped out of the fence line and ran for about 300 yards in front of my vehicle to the ravine on the west border. I was not able to get picture of the buck, but I did take several pictures of his tracks. The ravine he ran into is an awesome funnel and must stand location. There was plenty of deer sign in this ravine, some spots were 50-60 yards wide with nice trees for climbers or stands. The main woods is in the north-west corner. The best part of this woods was the eastern section where it breaks from a nice hardwoods of beech, maple and ash to swampy grass and brush area. I saw lots of rubs and trails leading into this bedding area. If you want to see where the deer are living make sure you check out the east section of this woods. The north-west border is posted. I did see a couple of old posted signs on the west border of the main woods as well. Across the road is one hot spot that is a natural funnel between bigger woods. There were well worn deer trails through this piece. ATV use is allowed for hunting purposes only, but you must stay on established farm trails (marked on photos I posted). Do not drive on any of the farmers crops.
