This hunting lease is leased and not available. This is an awesome piece of property. 750 contiguous acres on the Cumberland River that is a mix of woods and crops. The land sits well above the river so the river doesn't get over into the crop land. There is 1.5 miles of river frontage. The majority of the boundaries of this farm is water, as Meshack Creek runs along the East boundary of the farm and spills into the river at the SE tip.

The land ranges from flat farmland with strips of trees, to large woods and cedar thickets with draws and saddles. The farm reminds me of one I saw in Calhoun Co IL once.

Extreme silence is what I call the sound you hear on this farm. I heard nothing other than a tugboat pushing a barge up the river. There are no highways or airports here. It is 12 miles from the county seat, but that county seat only has 2,300 people or so. There is a WalMart and a few fast food spots there, but otherwise it is "out there".
