This hunting lease is leased and not available. The property for lease is located in Lewis County, KY. The terrain is typical for the area, consisting of steep ridges, deep hollers and flat ridge tops. This tract did have a decent road system, however certain spots had some pretty deep ruts that would likely need to be filled or smoothed out if you intend to use an ATV. The property has a good amount of buck sign (as you can see from the photos) and being located in a top county in KY for Boone and Crockett harvest doesn't hurt either. Several heavily used deer trails are present. The property had been logged a few years ago and a lot of the existing timber was young. However, there is still some real nice mature timber left on the ridge tops as well as in the hollers. I saw several good oak trees that had acorns laying all around them on the ground. I would suggest replacing the cable at the entrance, or putting up a gate, if you intend to keep out trespassers on ATVs. I think this could be a pretty good spot for a few guys to hit and have a chance at a big ol' Kentucky buck! Responsible ATV use is permitted for hunting purposes only.
