A nice little farm being offered for lease in Vermilion County. Farm is made up of timber and row crops. There's about 5+/- acres of timber, which would make for a wonderful place for a parent to take their child hunting. During my inspection, I was not able to make it into the timber, as I was literally sinking in the mud, with all the rain we had. However, I was able to walk down the side of the farm and surprisingly, there was an abundant of deer tracks. I was able to speak with the gentlemen who leased this farm last year, and he was only able to hunt in a couple of times due to an injury he suffered. He said he saw good deer numbers and thought the farm had potential. The nice thing about this lease is it lies in a great county and during the pre-rut and rut, you never know what might come through.
