This hunting lease is leased and not available.
Let me express this upfront – I would not hesitate to hunt this farm, as I was thoroughly impressed with what I saw the day I was on the property. Just take a glance at the aerial photo and the trail-cam footage from this property. They illustrate its potential; highlighting the size of the bucks that call this place home and its strategic layout. Despite the dry conditions at the time of my visit, the deer tails on this farm are being so heavily used, they were very visible. The deer sign completely littered every corner of the property, and it possesses all the essential elements for holding and growing big deer: water, timber, bedding, and food. The seclusion of this farm offers an added advantage.
Given its remote location, I have no doubt in my mind the deer will have no issues venturing into the row crops during daylight hours. In fact, they were out on the edges when I was there. While most darted back into the timber, one young buck decided to run through the soybeans affording me the opportunity to capture a picture of him. I dedicated over three hours to walking every inch of this farm, and at every turn, I found myself eager to see more. I was on every corner and walked every boundary line, discovering a plethora of potential stand locations. As I mentioned earlier, the aerial photo provides valuable insights on placement of stands and revealing the property's natural funnels and pinch points. Additionally, do not overlook the significance of the 8-acre section where you enter the farm, it too was packed with deer sign. Words fall short in adequately describing the unlimited potential this lease has. This is precisely why you become a member of Base Camp Leasing – for opportunities like this one.
