A very secluded farm being offered for lease in Pope County, IL. This farm is made up of Timber, water, and CRP, and completely surrounded by row crops. For only being 40 acres, this little gem just might have a ton of potential. There was plenty of deer sign as you'll see in the pictures. I jumped up several deer while walking the farm. The creek that runs through this farm holds water year-round and is being used by all wildlife. You just can't walk across this creek. It's deep and wide. I did, however, find a place where a tree has fallen over and you could cross there.
There is a farm road, which is showed in blue on the aerial photo that leads back to this farm. Because, the landowner does not want this road torn up, he asks that access in, is by ATV only. Farmers also use this road to plant crops and he does not want it rutted up. When you enter the farm road from the highway, travel to where the road veers to the right, you will see a slight veer in the blue line on the aerial photo. There is ample space to unload an ATV. Overall, this is a nice farm.
