This hunting lease is leased and not available. A very nice farm being offered for lease in Cumberland County, IL. The farm is made up of timber, CRP, and water with row crops surrounding the farm. With the amount of CRP this farm boasts, it's very evident the deer are calling this farm home and feeding in the bordering row crops. There are numerous trails leading from the CRP into the timber, which continue on to the row crops. However, this farm has plenty of crop producing trees as the acorns were abundant. The forest floor was completely littered with deer sign from one end to the other. The most important thing this farm has, is the combination of cover and water! Even though it was very dry when I walked this farm, you could still see the deer trails and there were numerous amount of deer tracks around the water. When the crops are completely harvested, these nut producing trees will play a large roll on this farm. I was very impressed with what I saw. This farm lies in a great area of the County and holds a ton of potential. I'm certain you will be satisfied with your hunting experience!
