The south piece is a well-protected small sanctuary where deer can hide in the thumb of the draw that trails across a dirt road and into some fantastic neighboring deer habitat. Lots of deer sign crossing the dirt road to and from this part of the lease. I inspected this property after a rain the day before and was very impressed on how many fresh tracks there were going in and out of this property. The draw running into the sanctuary is protected by a tree lined small creek and a sharp hillside. This is a very affordable opportunity to tag out on a couple of bucks! 2.5 miles away the other part of this lease could offer some deer harvest opportunity but I would describe it mostly as a nice place to hunt pheasant, quail, and dove. This Lease is close to lodging (10 minutes) and between Lincoln and Omaha 35 minutes either way.
