This hunting lease is leased and not available. This large Pittsylvania County farm is located in the west central area of the county. This is one of the best areas for big mature bucks in the entire state. The property is located well within the NO DOG HUNTING area. A previous owner managed this farm for mature deer since 2009. This 321-acre farm is a part of a working cattle farm. The fields are in good condition with abundant grasses and clover. Cattle are rotated from field to field and are never on all the fields at the same time. The property consists of some planted pine sections that are making excellent bedding areas for the deer. The creek lines have mature hardwoods and are being used as travel corridors through the property. There is also a mature hardwood section along the western border of the property. I found several piles of droppings in the fields during my inspection. This farm has the necessities to hold deer year round. Several nice sheds have been found on this property by the farm hands through the years including one from 2017 with 8 score able points on one side! This farm will give an opportunity for a true Virginia giant!
