This hunting lease is leased and not available. Base Camp Leasing has a 193 acre hunting lease available for immediate lease in Chenango County, New York. This property is located near Smyrna, New York in WMU (7M). The property consists of 193 acres ranging from a beautiful ravine, hay fields, overgrown recaptured farm fields and woods. This property has everything deer need to get big and fat. The trail cam pictures and pictures were taken in 2016 and 2017. This property contains hundreds of apple trees scattered through-out it. The ravine is wooded and runs from the south-west corner to the middle of the property on the north border. The property has a gradual uphill grade from the east to the west. The north-east corner is the highest point and also contains a small stand of plantation pines. The deer trails are incredible on this property. A 135 class buck was harvested with a bow (2016). The cameras on the property show several shooters both years they were deployed (2016 and 2017). There are 2 small hay fields on the west border of this property. The only access road is from the west. It will not be hard to find a lot of deer sign. The property is well posted. The hunting lease has a great established trail system. ATV use is authorized for hunting purposes only. It might be possible to get permission to park a camper during deer season (have to get permission from owner). The landowner is a non-hunter and reports seeing deer and turkey almost daily! I will post some of the better bucks on camera from 2016 and 2017. I am aware of only one of these being harvested!
