This hunting lease is leased and not available. Despite its limited timber, this farm showed extensive deer activity and boasts a rich history, including the harvest of a 170" buck. The farm's location in an area with scarce timber means deer must travel through it. During my inspection, I jumped a couple of does in the middle of the farm. With row crops surrounding the farm, it is highly likely that deer are using a section of timber for bedding. The ground is covered with deer tracks, and the trails between the timber and row crops are heavily used. The photos reveal a dense underbrush in the timber, providing ample cover for deer. While two hunters could potentially hunt here at the same time, I would recommend only one at a time. Based on my observations, and if hunted properly the opportunity for you to harvest a 170 is only a matter of time.
