This hunting lease is leased and not available. Nice Seneca County "Bowhunting Only" property with 35 acres of woods and cover along Morrison Creek. The woods were select cut around 2016, with tops and blowdowns left behind for the deer to bed in. Plenty of good stand trees left. The creek is the corridor for all the cover in this section. Great access from the east and north for those westerly winds. The farther southwest I went in the woods the thicker the bedding cover was. Found a few decent rubs along the creek and saw three tom turkeys across the road. This area does not have as high deer density as other parts of the State, but that just makes the bucks travel farther looking for does. This should be a great rut spot. Decent trail system through the woods. Fields are in row crops. Landowner's son lives next to the property to keep an eye on things. Active summer campground to the west. Respectful ATV use for hunting purposes only. Remember, this is a bowhunting only lease, but you can hunt all deer seasons in Ohio with a bow.
