This hunting lease is leased and not available. Available only to Wall Hangers currently. Big country mule deer hunting in pine filled canyons. This property is highly traveled with crop fields and a large piece of CRP just outside of the secluded canyons. A lot of deer in the CRP close to the crops. There are a bunch of old terrace in the CRP that provide some great bedding spots. Lots of bedding areas on the warm hillsides in the buck brush and pines, I bumped a large group of mule deer during inspection on one of those sunnyside facing bluffs. Deer in this entire area will travel into this lease whether to feed on wheat or water at a windmill tanks. The canyons hold the mule deer and occasionally you will also see whitetail in the valleys, crp, and crop fields. Housing within 30 miles in Sydney Nebraska or camping options can be discussed with the landowner. Respectful ATV use is permitted for hunting purpose only. These are resident landowners whom have always kept a close eye on the property and are now offering it for first time to lease this 2019. Access takes you past the landowner home with the canyons hidden behind, trespassing and road hunting would be impossible without being noticed by the landowners.
