This hunting lease is leased and not available. Here's a great property just outside of Rochester, and less than 1 mile off the HWY 52 ramps. This property looks like it should hold lots of deer and turkeys all year long. The Northeast timber is all big White Pine. The open strip down the middle is tall native grass, and the timber on the Southwest side is hardwoods like ash, maple and oak. There's a private drive on the East side of the property for access. As you can see in the photos this piece is already posted very well. Landowner stated that the property hasn't been hunted since they owned it. I couldn't find a single stand on this one, or even a trimmed out tree that used to have a stand in it. The deer should be very comfortable on this one. The trails and buck rubs were heavy everywhere on this property. It's obvious there are some nice bucks cruising this farm during the rut. The property is connected to a bunch more timber and there's lots of cover in the area. Included in the price is the option to plant 2 acres of food plots if you choose to. The NW end of the open ground is the best spot for this. It wouldn't take much to get a nice stand of corn or beans in this area. Late season would be a slam-dunk with food on this property.
