This hunting lease is leased and not available. This property was recently placed in a conservation easement and fields have been planted in pines. You can see the lines in some of the pictures where the trees were set. The property was once a working cattle farm and is being converted to a forested tract. The southern border is the Tye River, and it also has a small stream on the east side as well. The fields are going to be allowed to grow up naturally, but they should provide a good food source for the next few years. I found several oaks in the wood lots on this property that will make a good draw in the fall. During the inspection I found several nice trails crossing the branch and working along the river edge.

Property is located only about 25 minutes from Lynchburg!

Sunday hunting is allowed.
