This hunting lease is about 14 miles north of Binghamton, New York. The lease is less than 5 minutes from I-81 and lies in WMU (7P). The landowner reports seeing anywhere from 8 -20 deer in his hay fields in the evening. This property has about 5 acres of woods on the east border and 20 acres of brush in the south-east section. The north border is a line fence with mature trees. I saw several good rubs and deer trails along this fence line. There are scattered apple trees in the fence line borders. The property slopes uphill from the west to the east. This property would provide excellent opportunities to harvest deer and turkey. It was hunted several years ago by a friend of the landowners and he left a stand in the north-east corner, where fence line meets woods. A great spot! Ground blinds would also work well on this lease. I saw deer on the neighboring property to the north, on my inspection. ATV use and camping are allowed for hunting purposes only. Stay off hayfields and shut any gates you open. Get with landowner for camping spot if you plan on using one.
