This hunting lease is leased and not available.
This is the property where a Hunter's dreams could come true!! Unless there is something I don't know… I rate this property as one of the "Top 5" I have ever listed. Here are a few reasons why:
First, Adams County, which may be the best big buck county in Ohio. Almost every year a few over 200 inches are taken here. Check out the buck found here in the pictures… he was a stud!
Second, just check out the huge rubs I found during inspection!! They were everywhere. I sure wish I had inspected this farm in the fall or late winter.
Third, landowner lives on site and is ex law enforcement. They are great people and will help you with anything you need. No one should bother you here.
Fourth, north side of property is bordered by the East Fork of Eagle Creek. Creek was only ankle high when I inspected. Then access comes from the south on a mile-long gravel drive back into the property. Talk about remote and away from the pressure.
Fifth, this property hunts "HUGE", as the property is broken into three different parcels that hunt like five different properties and deer groups.
What more could you ask for? There is a great camping spot at the hay fields on the east parcel. Landowner will go over property lines once leased. There are about 20 acres, and a hill, across the creek on the west end that has big cedars and mature oaks that was loaded with sign. The cover along the hay fields at the east end along the river is a slam dunk. I could see hunting every area I checked out. The landowner has about 15 head of livestock and horses fenced in the pastures and woods right around the house. They have a place to store your ATV if need be. Respectful ATV use and camping for hunting purposes only. There are no crops nearby, so feeding and minerals would be a big plus here. The rut should be crazy!! This area has excellent turkey hunting as well. Landowners have a few old dogs that never stray and stay at the house, so no concern here. Just an FYI...2-3 times a year outside hunting season there are 3 day survival training sessions for 1-5 people in the lower hay fields (total around 9 days). I am sure who ever leases this property 1st will not let it go for a long time.
