This lease features two tracts, half mile apart, with wooded draws surrounded by crops.
The draw in the west quarter is the thicker of the two and should be plenty wide to hold and attract the wildlife. There is an awesome open grassy area along the eastern property line that is going to be an obvious spot to set up over. There was water flowing in the small creek inside the woods on the day of inspection during a dry spell.
The east quarter has a cattle pasture (outlined in blue on the aerial picture) that is completely hidden from the road. Cattle will be on the property part of the year. The terrain is a lot rougher on this side of the property. IN FACT, THIS WHOLE SIDE OF THE PROPERTY LOOKED TREMENDOUSLY BETTER IN PERSON THAN IT DID IN THE AERIAL PICTURE. NOTICE: THE DRAINAGE EAST OF THE POND NEVER HAS CATTLE IN IT AND LOOKS LIKE A GREAT SPOT FOR A BIG MATURE WHITETAIL TO HIDE. I WAS SURPRISED AT HOW TALL AND THICK THE TREES AND BRUSH ACTUALLY ARE IN PERSON.
A blacktop road runs along the west edge of the west quarter. The road along the north side of both quarters is a minimum maintenance road.
