This hunting lease is leased and not available.
Here is a nice Scott County lease, which lies right on the Illinois River. While walking the farm we jumped up several deer and found several good stand locations. The deer sign was very evident and was scattered throughout the entire farm. I was extremely impressed with this farm. The property is made up of timber, tall grasses that is providing bedding and cover, approximately 10-acres of wheat, which is being used as a cover crop, and water, every ingredient you need to harvest a mature Illinois buck. The funnels and pinch-points speak for themselves as you will see within the aerial photo. There are row crops surrounding the farm and the deer are using this farm to travel back and forth. I spoke with the landowner's son, who stated while he was there checking on the levee project, he jumped 8 bucks and two were big bucks. The son is a well-known for harvesting mature whitetails, and when he says he saw two big bucks, you can bet they were mature. The other thing this farm has going for it is the seclusion. No roads and no worries of someone coming in on you. There is a lot of potential on this farm!

*However, the landowner has added the month of September to the lease, so you can hang your stands, but you cannot start hunting the property until 1 November.
