The property has a mix of open ground and mixed hardwood timber. The landowner keeps the tops of the ridges cut for hay or periodically bushhogged. Both deer and turkey sign were abundant throughout the trails and ridge tops. As I walked down the slopes and into the timber, I began seeing more and more deer sign, including two does on the edge of a cedar thicket.
