Amazing little hunting property just outside Lincoln Nebraska. Hidden thickets in draws and nice grassy open areas with resident deer, turkey, pheasant, and quail. If you love turkey hunting this place will be loaded with strutting Toms in spring. The main draw has a creek running from east to west surrounded by cedars and deciduous trees. Hillsides and thick cover along the roads create a nice little sanctuary for wildlife. The finger draws branching off the creek are also very well protected from the topography and also contain some very thick patches. Deer trails crossing through draws and down the creek edge are very obvious. I lost count of how many scrapes I walked up on, must be a battle zone during the rut. The landowner has only given 1 person permission to hunt this property in the past and said he has been consistently successful.
Landowners additional requirements are:
Hunting must not interfere with agricultural operations.
All lessees must have valid hunting permits and obey all hunting regulations.
ATV or UTV is permitted but must have a working spark arrestor.
Hunting dogs are permitted but must not be allowed to chase or harass neighboring livestock.
Gut piles must be buried at least 8 inches or removed entirely, landowner does not want to attract local dogs.
