This hunting lease is leased and not available.
What a privilege it is to be able to offer a great farm like this.
Seldom do you come across a farm that has so much quality deer sign that it leaves you saying "WOW!" The rubs, tracks, trails and even shed antlers that were present on the day of my inspection were plentiful and proof that the deer feel comfortable calling this farm home.
The small fields and brush enclosed water hole on the north end is where you will probably concentrate most of your hunting efforts. This area appears to be the bedroom for a local buck that likes to make post rubs. He even left behind some of last year's head gear. My dog and I came across three shed antlers during our inspection.
The wooded creek that dissects this property from north to south is an obvious travel corridor. It features plenty of open woods and brushy areas for the wildlife to take cover in. The creek itself is just deep and wide enough that you will have a difficult time finding a place to cross. There is a low water bridge crossing the creek along the driveway on the south half of the property to allow access to the east fields from the south end, otherwise you will have to come in from the NE corner.
Located just a couple miles east the Wolf Creek Reservoir, I would imagine that there are some waterfowl opportunities to be had on this property as well.
Burlington is only six miles away. Blacktop roads border this property on the west and north, so CLEAN, all weather access will be possible.
Cattle will be in the small lot behind the barn on the north end part of the year but should not have any effect on the rest of the property.
