This hunting lease is leased and not available. This is certainly a unique farm. The two giant windmills and cell tower are not something we deal with on a regular basis, so this was a new experience. I had some questions about the quality of this piece before my inspection, but after sneaking around the property for an hour I am convinced that is going to be a very solid farm when it comes to deer hunting. I don't see that the windmills will have any effect on the deer, as they are on the hilltops and away from the prime cover and areas you expect to find deer.

Access into the property is obviously very easy with the gravel roads leading to the towers on the highest part of the property. The fingers of the woods coming up from the creek to the south are somewhat hidden with the rolling terrain. These fingers are excellent deer habitat consisting of mixed hardwoods, brush and some open grassy areas. There are several small ponds inside the cover, and of course the creek that cuts across the southeast corner of the property. The deer sign was plentiful in the expected areas, including lots of good size rubs and heavily worn trails. I even kicked up a couple of big bodied deer that looked like they could have been bucks without their headgear. This property will give you plenty of options for stand or blind locations.
