This hunting lease is leased and not available. This is a heavily wooded property located in both Lewis and Carter Counties. The farm is fragmented into two parcels including one 367 Acre Tract and another 45 Acres located nearby to the East. In order to reach both parcels, you will need to gain entry by gate. Gaining access to the main 367 Acre Tract a person will be able to pull off the main highway, go thru the first locked gate which serves as an entrance to a deeded easement, then you will need to hike or travel by UTV or small to mid-size 4X4 about three quarters of a mile to the second gate. This is where the entrance to the property begins. To reach the separate 45 Acres, a person may need to come in from a different entrance entirely. Both properties are considered to be rugged, however there are some fairly good-sized bottoms on the larger parcel that will make for some great hunting. This is where I saw the majority of the sign, including both deer and turkey. Plenty of mast trees, nice timber that will be great to explore and set-up in, specifically the saddles and ridgetops. This is a remote property and hunters will have no problem fanning out, especially for those that are willing to put some work in. This is a big buck county and the opportunity for seeing or killing a nice one are as high here as anywhere else well known. Minutes from I-64, convenience is another great benefit to add to the list. ATVs are acceptable when using them for hunting purposes. No Camping Allowed.
