This hunting lease is leased and not available. Base Camp Leasing has a 355 acre hunting lease available for immediate lease in Chautauqua County, New York. This hunting lease is located in WMU(9K) and is about 5miles NE of Jamestown, New York. This property is combination of woods, working farm fields, a major ravine and drainage swampy area. I saw plenty of deer sign (some big rubs and well used trails) on my inspection. The swampy drainage cover that protrudes in the field in the north part of this lease was loaded with deer trails. There are scattered apple trees along wood edges. There is a major ravine that is located in the SW of the property that runs north along west border. The ravine is steep in certain spots and is lined with hemlocks in most spots (found a giant rub along top). The woods to the west of the property is loaded with nice big beech trees. There are over 200 acres of woods and cover on this lease. There is almost a mile of road frontage. There are many heavy used deer trails coming onto property where the drainage comes to the road. The area looks to hold an excellent deer herd and turkey population. Posting of the property would be allowed. ATV use would be allowed for hunting purposes only. Stay off crop fields (ride the edge). You are allowed to improve the old logging roads for property access (no cutting of trees just downed trees across trails). No camping allowed.
