What a farm! This property speaks for itself. As you can see from the pictures, it has consistently produced some impressive bucks over the years. A quick look at the aerial photo makes it clear why this farm has had much success throughout the years. The aerial also exposes some prime stand locations, making it easy to visualize where you'd want to set up. While walking the farm, I went to those key areas that stood out on the aerial, and it was obvious the deer were actively using them. In fact, both rubs shown in the pictures were found right in those spots. The property features a perfect mix of timber, row crops, bedding areas, and seasonal water; everything needed to hold and attract deer. Another major advantage of this farm is its seclusion. Being set back from the road provides a level of privacy that allows deer to feel comfortable entering the fields during daylight hours. A monster buck was taken on the neighboring property, but given the layout and habitat, he almost certainly spent time here. If you are serious about harvesting a mature Illinois whitetail, this is the farm where that opportunity is highly likely. The blue lines on the aerial indicate where the landowner has removed the fence row.
