LICKING COUNTY OHIO!! Need I say more!! This county is in the top two counties in Ohio for trophy whitetails, and this property has it all to prove it. Just look at the huge rubs and deer sign I found on inspection. Plus, I jumped a GIANT with a doe out of a small thicket. This property has 82 acres of woods and cover, 64 acres on the north side of the road, and 18 acres on the south side. The North Fork of the Licking River is on the north boundary. This property has everything a trophy whitetail hunter is looking for…. Rolling terrain, fingers, points, fence rows, ravines, hardwoods, oaks, row crops, river, bottomland, good connecting cover, and great whitetail genetics. Should be plenty of turkeys here too.
The landowner has farmed this property for years and has seen some great bucks come off the place. He has recently purchased the property. This is an income working farm and the landowner will be doing some improvements in the future. He may take out some small patches of cover, and he would like to eventually make a lane back to the river, which will give hunters better access.
I am pretty sure who ever picks up this property will not let it go. It would be tough to find a better area in Ohio to hunt. Respectful ATV use for hunting purposes only. No real place to camp presently. However, hotels and everything you need is within 15 minutes. If you ever wanted to crush some big whitetails in Ohio…. Do not pass this one up!!
