This hunting lease is leased and not available.
160-acre rifle, muzzle loader and late season archery deer hunting lease. For you folks that also golf, think of how many times when you are out on the golf course that you see deer. Landowner has owned this property for over 10 years. Typically, he shuts the golf course down the end of October each year but that is also dependent on the weather. Regardless, all golfing should be completed 3 or so weeks prior to opening of the rifle deer hunting season. He will still be doing some general maintenance and putting things away once the golf course shuts down, but nothing would be happening during the rifle, muzzle loader or late season archery deer seasons and most likely even a week or two prior to those.
Regarding stands and trail cameras, you can place them on the property, but landowner would like to discuss that with you first. He simply wants to have some common sense regarding where these are placed to not interfere with his golfing clients. If you wanted to put something up in more open areas, that can be done once he has shut down the golfing for the year, and then removed after your hunt is done. He is not opposed to you leaving stands up year-round, but those would be in locations he has approved of.
Landowner also owns lease number 9653 which borders this property on the west side. That property includes all spring turkey hunting and all fall deer hunting rights as it does not have any golfing on it.
This is a rifle, muzzle loading and late season archery deer lease only. No food plots allowed. Camping during the rifle and muzzle loading deer hunting and late archery deer seasons allowed with permission from landowner. ATV's use during the rifle and muzzle loading deer seasons allowed but must remain on the cart paths. Landowner would like to be contacted prior to your visits to the property.
