This hunting lease is leased and not available.
This 584-acre lease will give you and your hunting buddies plenty of room to spread out.
During my visit to the property, there was a good amount of deer sign present on every part of the property I was able to get to before I ran out of daylight. The eastern part has several woody drainages, ditches, and creeks dissecting the crop fields. Numerous nice rubs were present, and it looks to be a good travel corridor for the deer as they cruise the countryside.
The middle of the property features a woody ridge, with hay ground on top, and along the road, that falls sharply to the timber and then opens to the bottom ground crops. This area looks about as good as it gets for the deer hunter. There were some nice deer scrapes along the edge of hay ground. You can park your pickup on the south side of the hay meadow walk up, over and down the hill to be in your stand in a matter of minutes.
The west part of the lease sits along some seemingly very rural minimum maintenance roads, so plan ahead in wet weather. There is just enough cover along the drainages to provide cover for the deer so keep your head on a swivel because they can pop up out of anywhere.
