This hunting lease is leased and not available. Licking County is one of the very top big buck counties in Ohio. This 116-acre property sits in Central Ohio just a few miles east of Buckeye Lake and just south of I-70. This lease consists of two separate parcels on different sides of a couple roads. This is a rolling valley with big woods on multiple sides within a mile or two. You have a couple nice creeks with plenty of cover and good stand trees on both sides. Plus, you have multiple thick tree-lines to hunt, and you can see from the pictures there is plenty of deer sign to make any hunter happy. Throw in a couple nice pockets of good deer cover out in the fields and you have a great lease to spread out on.

When the rut starts you should see the bucks come out of the big timber and cruise all the connecting tree-lines. Also, when the guns start going off the deer should head out across the fields to the pockets of thick cover. The farther I got off the road the better the sign was. I saw multiple spots I would love to set a stand, as this is the kind of property I personally love to hunt. The fields are in row crops and some of them were in a winter cover crop on inspection.
