This hunting lease is leased and not available. Base Camp Leasing has a 45 acre hunting lease available for immediate lease in Otsego County, New York. This hunting lease is in WMU(4F) and is about 33 miles SE of Utica, New York. This hunting lease is loaded with deer sign. There are tracks, trails, apple trees and deer droppings everywhere on this hunting lease. The property gradually goes downhill to the east from the main road to a small stream (foot to 2 foot wide) that runs north and south on the property. I was able to easily hop across this stream even with the snow melt. The beavers have a damn to the north that will dry this run-off stream up. There are scattered pine trees and brush throughout the property. Plenty of mature trees for stands as well as great ground blind spots. There is a snowmobile trail just the other side of small stream (runs north and south). There is a little bigger stream to the east end of property (runs North and South). It is a very easy property to get around on with good road frontage and cover for the wildlife. ATV use is allowed for hunting purposes only. Landowner will allow posting of property (it is posted pretty good). No spot for a camper but Cooperstown and Oneonta are close by (within 10 and 15 miles). Landowner retains the grouse and woodcock hunting rights. There will be a possible grouse/woodcock hunt sometime in last 2 weeks of October only. Great looking hunting lease based on the deer sign. My bet is the first person who inspects this lease will put a deposit on it from their phone!
