Here is a great lease located in Allen county.
The owner just bought this property a few years ago and is now making it available for you to hunt.
Obviously, you will be focusing most of you hunting efforts on the eastern half of the property. A winding creek meanders through the trees and brush. Cattle are on part of the property (outlined in blue), but this really seems like this will not be much of a factor. The creek is wide, creating a nice barrier to help keep the cattle on the west side for the most part. The southeast corner is a hay meadow. As you cross the small creek to the north you enter another hay meadow that has been taken over by trees and brush, the owner is in the process of cleaning these up so he can harvest the hay, but he hasn't gotten very far on it...
The north half of the property is formerly CRP, but is now hay ground.
During my visit to the property, we kicked up at least six deer.
The owner lives on site to keep an eye on things. He sees deer and turkeys all the time...
Lodging and supplies can be found in Iola, about six miles away.
