With 3,209 total deer harvested last hunting season and 1,640 of those being bucks, Wayne County is a big buck hot spot in the state. Enjoy liberal hunting seasons in Tennessee, with archery season beginning September 25 and rifle season ending 2 January. Oh, and there is a velvet archery only hunt 27-29 August! Wayne County also offers plentiful opportunities for antlerless deer harvest. Being located in Unit L, this property allows for 3 antlerless deer per day to be harvested!
