This hunting lease is leased and not available. 220 acres in Lincoln County. Just a few miles southwest of Merrill is this property for lease. All legal game is yours to hunt on this property. Lots of deer sign was present during my inspection. Trails, tracks, rubs, and beds were all visible. Plenty of diverse habitat for the deer to occupy. Mixed hardwoods including some pines and hemlocks make up some of the cover while thick grasses, willows, and tag alders make up some of the rest. Very little elevation change on this property. There are a couple of logging trails through the property to provide access to all areas of the property. The landowner stated that he tries to mow these trails a couple times throughout the summer to keep the vegetation down. A snowmobile trail also goes through the property which can provide great ambush spots as well as access. There is also access to property from the westside off of Scott Road. Plenty of mature trees for stand locations. Row crops are typically planted in the fields. In the aerial pictures you will see some ginseng operation but that is not there now. Respectful use of ATV's is allowed for hunting related purposes only when weather and ground conditions permit. Food plots are a possibility with permission from the landowner as to where. Camping is a possibility also with permission from the landowner as to where. There may be the possibility of electric hook up and water from the landowner for a small fee. You have to contact and make these arrangements with the landowner. Other lodging and food are available minutes away in Merrill. The landowner would like contact from the hunters initially. No use of nails, screws, or screw in tree steps is allowed.
